Ladbrokes Scottish League Two 2015 - 2016

ladbrokes league two logoFor the first time the team finishing last in 2014-15 had to play-off against the winners of a two-legged tie between the champions of the Highland and Lowland leagues. Montrose survived after overcoming Brora Rangers.

The Wee 'Gers wore their new change kit for the first time in the pre-season friendly against St Mirren. Their first kit marks a return to traditional stripes in black and gold.

Clyde have opted for a set of Hummel strips with interchangeable elements this season. The first choice strip is particularly fine, a riff on their traditional combination with the addition of red raglan sleeves.

East Fife have worn gold tops in the past but never before with white shorts. Personally, I prefer them in gold and black stripes. The change strip is Joma's Crew design.

In order to keep costs down both for the club and supporters, Shire are keeping their kits for a second season but the sponsorship is new.

Elgin have introduced two new strips under their in-house brand. The first choice shirt features narrower stripes than the previous version as well as solid black sleeves. The alternative looks like something Caley Thistle would wear.

Montrose have the distinction of being the first club to have been involved in a play-off to retain their place in the Scottish League. In the end they survived, beating Highland League side Brora Rangers 3-2 on aggregate. The new strips for 2015-16 are the simplest in Nike's catalogue.
